When we got Kodi it wasnt my intention to show her, but after a lot of comments on how nice she was and lots of 'do you show her' I took her to my local ringcraft class to see what they thought. In November 2006 we went to our first open show and she won the puppy class and Best Puppy in Breed. She is now known as Jaydex Shining Light at Jasdekoma.
Update Sept 09
Kodi has now been to 6 companion shows after having her pups, she won all of the working breed classes she was entered in and won Best in Show at 5 of them. She also won The Dog in Best Condition in a novelty class, which I was very pleased with as she only had her pups 4 months ago. She has quite a few Open Shows coming up and Champ Shows in Wales in Oct, then LKA in December and then Crufts in March 2010.
Indys first show will be at Weymouth in Dec followed by LKA, her first champ show at just six months old!
We hope to do Manchester in January with her too.

Indy did very well at Weymouth coming 2nd to a much older puppy and beating one other.
I was very pleased with her, she stood beautifully, was a little jumpy around the ring whilst doing her triangle but it was very windy! We are looking forward to LKA next weekend.
Kodi did well getting BOB & Working Group 3.
Indy won the Puppy class/Best Puppy in Breed at Wealdstone & Harrow Open show 27/12 beating 3 others, she therefore gains her first point towards her Junior Warrant. Kodi also won the PG Class.

Beautiful bitch, elegant yet strong, very well muscled, excellent angulation, good length to neck, correct slope to firm back, lovely head muzzle & skull on same parallel planes, good length to both, dark eye, well placed ears, very free & easy on the move.
WG1 With a bigger indoor ring was able to show her paces even better than in the breed ring. Never put a foot wrong, standing or moving.

Elegant bitch, beautifully balanced, well angulated, strong bone yet feminine, good length to flat skull, balanced to muzzle & good strength to muzzle, high set ears & almond eye, lovely reach of neck, good standing & did not disappoint on the move, elegant & free moving with good reach in front, very steady & balanced for one so young.
PG1 Has same strong qualities as her dam & could not be denied the top spot. Very sensible in the big ring & composed, showing herself to best advantage.
